Charlotte's Web at Arden Theatre Company, Philadelphia, PA!
I'm ecstatic to announce that I will be playing the role of the spider, Charlotte in "Charlotte's Web" at the Arden Theatre Company in Philadelphia, PA! I still cannot believe this is happening, and am still jumping out of my socks! I didn't find out that I would be making this move until exactly one week ago, and I had to make the quickest decision I've ever made in my life! I was still in Wisconsin in the midst of "Pippin" rehearsals when I got the notice from my agent about submitting for the auditions. I never thought in a million years that this would happen!! My heart is so full of happiness, and I am so very thankful and grateful for the opportunity to do the things I love. The last time I was in Philly was on my 8th grade school trip, to see the Liberty Bell- if you can just imagine a group of kids from Hawaii all huddling together, trying to stay warm! Life has its many ups and downs. I had no idea what I would be doing after circus school ended in June, and there were happy days and sad days- happy days spent rehearsing and performing in "Pippin", but also chaotic and dark days spent exhausted running from countless audition to audition, working many odd jobs to pay rent, and wondering what my next steady job was going to be. Life is surely an adventure. But every experience, good and bad, have helped me learn and grow as a performer, and as a person. I'm so excited to make something magical with my new theatre family.
